I am 45, I have two amazing kids and have been married for 13 years to a great husband. The last 14 months have been horrific. We have survived the most immense and excruciating challenge of our life so far. I am by no means an expert and can only speak from my own experiences, but throughout this blog I have been as honest and real as I can in the hope it can help others find their way through the pain, or think twice before they even embark on an affair, either as an unfaithful spouse or affair partner.
However cliched and naive it sounds, I never in a million years thought this would happen to me. Please, please, please consider that every decision you make will live with you for the rest of your life. Whatever you feel, an affair is never, ever, EVER a good idea and will cause so much more devastation than you could possibly even think up. If you are deep in the abyss of the painful after-effects of infidelity, my heart is yours.
